House rules
Dear guests, we warmly welcome you to our holiday accommodation and wish you an eventful stay in the Capital of Culture 2025. By booking, you accept these house rules and ensure that you and all fellow travelers adhere to the house rules. We thank you in advance for your cooperation!
QUIET TIMES
In our holiday accommodation, public quiet times, such as lunchtime and Sunday quiet, must be observed. Out of consideration and in the spirit of good neighborliness, nighttime quiet must also be observed between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. every day.
SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted in our holiday accommodation or in the entire building. Should you violate the prohibition, you as the tenant will be responsible for any costs incurred for a special cleaning.
INTERNET
Internet access is available to you free of charge in our holiday accommodation. You will receive the access code for this when you arrive. The use of this Internet access is at your own risk. We as the landlord accept no liability for any of your activities on the Internet. At this point we refer again to our General Terms and Conditions No. 10 Use of the WiFi.
PETS
Bringing pets is not permitted.
EVENTS AND PARTIES
Events and parties are generally prohibited in our holiday apartment. Any meeting of several people in our holiday accommodation must meet the relevant conditions of these house rules.
WASTE SEPARATION AND DISPOSAL
As we are obliged to separate waste, we ask you to also separate the waste in our holiday accommodation. Appropriate disposal options for organic waste, paper, plastic, residual waste and glass are available to you. Please only use these between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Also, never throw food scraps, rubbish or hygiene products into the toilet or other drains. Only dispose of your rubbish in the containers provided.
SAFETY
For safety reasons, all entrance doors to the holiday accommodation must be kept closed. In addition, all entrance doors must be locked when leaving the house. The windows should also be closed when leaving the holiday accommodation and at night. In the interests of fire protection, it is also important to ensure that the escape routes are not blocked. Heating, lights and other devices should also always be turned off if they are not in use. This also applies to electrical devices.

CLEANING
You are responsible for cleaning the holiday accommodation yourself during your stay. This is not included in the final cleaning. Appropriate cleaning products and equipment are available in the holiday accommodation for the necessary cleaning work. Some cleaning work also needs to be done before departure. You will find this listed in the “Arrival and departure” section.
DAMAGE
Damage to the holiday accommodation must be reported to the landlord as soon as possible. We cannot accept damage that is only discovered after you have left. If the damage is minor, such as broken glass, we as the landlord will cover the cost. However, you as the tenant are liable for major damage to the equipment or the holiday accommodation. To avoid damage, please refrain from moving furniture and avoid other potential sources of danger.
KEYS
You will receive a key for the front door upon arrival. Please never let the keys out of your hands. If you lose the keys, report this to us immediately. The cost of replacing them will then be 500,00 euros, which you as the tenant will bear. Access to our holiday apartments is keyless via an electronic door lock from Nuki. On the day of arrival, you will receive an email with the access code or, if you would like to use the Nuki app, an invitation link and detailed instructions.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
To ensure that the holiday accommodation is optimally prepared for our guests, you can check in from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, the holiday accommodation must then be vacated by 10 a.m. and left in a proper condition.
This includes:
• Empty the refrigerator and wipe it dry
• Clean the dishes and put them back in their place dry
• Dispose of remaining food
• Dispose of household waste in the designated waste containers
• Switch off electrical appliances (except the refrigerator)
• Sweep the rooms used in the holiday accommodation
These house rules are intended to ensure that you can enjoy the most pleasant and safe stay possible in our holiday accommodation. Compliance with the house rules is therefore essential. A violation of these house rules is a violation of the rental conditions set out in the rental agreement. We ask you to observe this and wish you a relaxing stay and a great time with us!
