3. Purposes and legal basis of data processing
Your personal data will be processed exclusively for the following purposes:
1. Booking and processing of the rental agreement (e.g. reservation, invoicing, communication, cleaning of the rental property)

2. Fulfillment of legal obligations (e.g. reporting obligation under the Federal Registration Act)
a. Legal basis: Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c GDPR (fulfillment of legal obligations)
3. Protection of legitimate interests (e.g. damage settlement, security measures)
a. Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest)
4. Categories of personal data
We process the following categories of personal data:
• Master data (e.g. name, address, date of birth)
• Contact details (e.g. telephone number, email address)
• Contract data (e.g. booking details, rental period)
• Payment data (e.g. bank details, invoices)
5. Recipients of the data
Your data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the purposes stated above or if we are legally obliged to do so.
Recipients can be:
• Authorities (e.g. registration authorities in the event of a statutory reporting obligation)
• Payment service providers or banks (e.g. processing payments)
• Service providers (e.g. cleaning companies in the event of damage or other problems with tenants)
6. Transfer to third countries
Your data will not be transferred to countries outside the European Union (third countries).
7. Duration of storage Your personal data will only be stored for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes mentioned above.
This means:
• Booking and contract data are generally stored for 6 or 10 years in accordance with tax and commercial law requirements.
• Data in connection with the reporting obligation is stored for 1 year in accordance with legal requirements (Section 30 Paragraph 4 of the Federal Registration Act).
After the deadlines have expired, your data will be deleted or anonymized.
8. Your rights as a data subject
You have the following rights with regard to the processing of your personal data:
1. Information about your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
2. Correction of incorrect or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
3. Deletion of your data, provided that there are no legal or contractual obligations to the contrary (Art. 17 GDPR)
4. Restriction of the processing of your data (Art. 18 GDPR).
5. Data portability, provided that the processing is based on your consent or a contract (Art. 20 GDPR)
6. Objection to the processing of your data, provided that it is based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR) You can contact us at any time to assert these rights (see contact details above).
9. Revocation of consent
If the processing is based on your consent, you can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. The revocation does not affect the legality of the processing carried out up to that point.
10. Right to complain to a supervisory authority
If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.

11. Obligation to provide data
The provision of your data is necessary in order to conclude and carry out the rental agreement. Without this data, we cannot process your booking or carry out the rental agreement.
12. Automated decision-making and profiling
There is no automated decision-making or profiling in accordance with Art. 22 GDPR.
